Roland Heck

Roland joined Global Recordings in 2009 and now serves in the Temecula office as USA Mobilization Director. His primary responsibilities include promoting and publicizing the mission and its vision, recruiting new staff and volunteers for service, and resource development.

The Heck family is truly a cross cultural family as both of Roland's parents come from Germany and met in San Francisco while taking English classes. His wife, Kieng is from Cambodia and came to the US as a refugee in her teen years. Her parents are from China. They have two children, Joshua in High School and Kathlena in college.

Roland became a Christian after Billy Graham gave an invitation to receive Christ. It was several years later when he attended a college Bible study that he learned how to grow in the Lord. It was at a missions conference that he committed himself to serve the Lord in cross cultural missions. In 1997 the family moved to Thailand and then in 1999 to Cambodia to serve the Lord. Because of health/social issues for their son they returned back to USA in 2008.

Prayer Requests:

  • That I would be an instrument and channel to help see the fulfillment of the Great Commission as every language group has an opportunity to hear and receive Jesus in their own heart language!
  • Joshua's social skills and as he transitions to adulthood.
  • Kathlena as she chooses her career path and attends college
  • Kieng in her work with Trans World Radio "Women of Hope" Also for part time employment.

Life Verse

"No one who trusts God like this- heart and soul- will ever regret it."
