Graham Schabel is an engineer with a range of technical skills.
Since joining GRN Australia in 2008 he has managed production of the Saber hand wind digital player, and been involved with support and refinements to the player. He also gives technical support in other areas with the mission, such as analog and digital recording equipment, and information technology.
Graham's Testimony
"I grew up in a Christian home in the western suburbs of Sydney. Although I have attended church since early childhood, I responded to God's calling in high school, during a Boy's Brigade camp. I was 13 when I committed my life to Jesus Christ.
"I have always had an interest in electronics and sound technology which lead me to a career as a technical engineer over the past 13 years. Recently, God has put a desire in my heart to use my gifts and skills to further the spread of the Gospel in a practical way.
"Over the past 2 years I've had the opportunity to participate in short-term mission trips to Africa and Bangladesh with GRN, and now I hope to serve God through GRN in a fulltime capacity.
"My current role involves delving into the finer workings of analog and digital recording storage and playback mechanisms, which will enable GRN to further the spread of the Gospel in audio formats.
