God is at work in the world

God is at work in the world. Don't be discouraged! Often we pray yet don't see or hear the results of our prayers. Yet God is still at work. Sometimes we hear much later how God has answered our prayer.

Just recently we heard of a mission (IBRA) which has sent hundreds of 'Messenger' hand wind cassette players along with messages of hope and reconciliation, into refugee camps in Tanzania and Congo following the Rwanda genocide. The report spoke of 12,000 who had come to faith in Christ. The report also spoke of 3 churches planted using the cassette players in other areas of Southern Africa. This month our prayer points touch on many areas of need - and there are many more not mentioned! You may not hear the outcome of the things for which you pray, but be assured that God is at work achieving his goals and purposes. We have a part to play through our prayers and through the activities of the ministry. So let us be faithful in prayer and diligent in our service for the King of Kings.
