Making a difference

We all want to make a difference. We all want to leave the world a better place for our being here - or at least I hope we do!

There are many ways we can make a difference: a small act of kindness, a smile or kind word, supporting a good cause, writing to your local politicians, to name just a few. I would encourage you to do these kinds of things, but even more than this I would encourage you to do those things that make an eternal difference.

The deepest need of men and women is to be reconciled to God their creator, to have their relationship with God restored and renewed through faith in Jesus Christ. This faith comes through hearing the message of the word of God, as Paul tells us in Romans 10. Helping make God's word available to those who otherwise could not hear it is one way to make an eternal difference.

Thank you once again for your encouragement, your prayers and your financial support. Rejoice that there will be many in heaven because together we have sought to make an eternal difference.
