Global Recordings Network (GRN) Australia is seeking applicants for the position of National Director (CEO) to lead and manage GRN Australia operations. The role involves the oversight of approximately 20 staff, support of seven countries, volunteers and an annual budget in excess of one million dollars.

GRN Australia plays a major role in the ministry of Global Recordings Network throughout the world (operations in more than 30 countries) including providing prayer, finance, technical support, training, ministry resources and resource development. GRN Australia staff are also involved in international information systems and global studio operations.

GRN partners with the church, to effectively communicate the Good News of Jesus Christ by means of culturally appropriate audio and audio-visual materials in every language. The GRN website provides free access to audio downloads of Bible stories, and other biblical material in nearly 6,000 languages and dialects.

The position offers challenging and exciting opportunities to develop the ministry in Australia and internationally.

About the Position

Essential attributes

A dynamic relationship with God and a commitment to his work in the world, substantial cross-cultural mission experience, Bible or theological training, leadership skills, people management experience and skills, strategic thinking and planning skills, the ability to monitor and oversee the financial operations of the mission, good spoken and written communication skills, ability to travel, networking skill and competence with computers.

Highly desirable attributes

An ordained or accredited minister, training in missiology, a technical or engineering background or the ability to interact competently on technical matters, interest in languages, knowledge of audio technology.
