That's a Good Question! - by Allan Starling
The short answer is that we are funded by unsolicited gifts from God's people. Since the work began, we have trusted God to supply the needs of the mission and staff. He has always been faithful!
Some donors give to the general fund. This pays for expenses related to producing, duplicating and shipping recordings. It also keeps the lights burning and the equipment running. Others prefer to support staff members or special projects such as recording a language, supplying players or helping with our building projects.
Donations usually come in the form of money, but sometimes also as real estate, stocks, furniture, clothes or automobiles. Most money is sent through the mail, but it also arrives by credit card or electronic fund transfer.
To ensure full accountability, all funds are under the control of the board of directors and the books are audited annually by an independent CPA. We are also members of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability and the Interdenominational Foreign Missions Association. As most gifts are given sacrificially, we endeavor to be good stewards of the resources entrusted to us.
