Pastor José: This was the second time José has recorded with GRN personnel. The first time was some 40 years or so previously when a Recordist visited this remote region of the Peruvian jungle. In the intervening years José has become a strong Christian and Pastor. |
Going Bush in Peru: "Outsiders" have not always treated the local people well so they were somewhat reserved in their welcome. Thankfully, after we had been there a little while and given Gospel cassettes to the families, they realised we had not come to exploit or hurt them. |
