The "beautiful feet" of some of our workers
Here are some pictures of the 2002 Culican camp outreach and the letter of Mike Hendricks, who has taken part in this project several times.
Hi folks,
Thanks so much for praying for us in Culiacan, God blessed us in so many ways! I have not received the totals for the numbers of families that were given Gospel tapes, or the number of people that came to Christ, but will send that along when I find out. I'm sure they number in the thousands.

Telling a Bible story with the big pictures and tape recording
It was a really long time out for me, and toward the end of the ministry trip, my Grandmother passed away. I was able to fly over and be with family for the funeral, and just have a brief visit with loved ones in West Virginia. After flying back to LA to get my truck and equipment, I drove back to Albuquerque, arriving safely Wednesday night. Through February and the first few days of March the trip was about 6000+ mi.
I really praise God for safety and His care over me and others that traveled with me. I did have a little problem with the ignition system on the truck, but the 'breakdown' happened about 30 yards from a shade-tree mechanic that had JUST the parts I needed for my old 79 Chevy! Hmmm. Another too similar story was when Joel Hernandez and his group from Oaxaca were returning, they also broke a U-joint on their Suburban, - right beside a repair shop. Hmmm. We had asked the Lord Jesus to be with us on all the teams' travels!

Some people have asked me about what happens to all the Native people that accept Christ, and if they continue living for God. I suppose there are some who may not, but I have personally met several Indian leaders who not only live for Christ, but return to the labor camps in Culiacan and help share the Message with us, as well as taking the Gospel back to their own people in southern Mexico. It is a profound blessing for me to see such faithfulness and commitment of God's people. I have to tell you as friends and supporters of my work, that I am honored to serve next to such brothers and sisters, and I thank YOU for helping me!

One other special blessing was when I met a young fellow that I had met 2 years ago in "Campo 3 Naciones". His name is Reudel, and he's in the pictures below, with a blue and gray shirt. He prayed with us back then, and was hanging around the truck with a couple of friends. I did not get to talk with him as much as I'd like, but please pray for him and so many others like him -young and old- who have asked Christ into their hearts. They have a difficult life, but Jesus promises to be with them.

Plans are underway for 3 outreach teams of Native young people (about 40-50) this summer in Canada, so I would like to ask for prayer for that. Many details have to come together for a successful time. We also will need to have about 6 more adult volunteers come and help! I'll have more details about that soon.
Here are a few pictures from the Culiacan Project, if you would like me to send a few more, just let me know.
Blessed to be serving our Awesome God,
Mike Hendricks
