Dear Friends,

Pray also for me, that whenever I open my mouth, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel...

Paul valued the prayers of the churches. In the sixth chapter of his letter to the Ephesians, at the conclusion of telling the flock how to stand their ground in the coming evil days, the final weapon he preaches is praying in the Spirit. And he makes it personal. As Paul traveled the Mediterranean sharing Christ on missionary journeys, he knew that prayer on his behalf would conquer any fearfulness he experienced.

The staff at GRN also desire and need your prayers. The encouragement missionaries experience is directly related to knowing that prayers are being offered on their behalf. Without prayer, the believer's armor is incomplete. It is an essential part of our calling.

Almost everyone believes that prayer is important. But there is a difference between believing that prayer is important and believing it is essential. "Essential" means there are things that will not happen without prayer. - Dee Duke
